Job Description: AECOM is actively seeking a Project Support Engineer to perform a range of technical/engineering assignments as a member of a technical support team on more complex assignments or as a lead on less complex assignments.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Provides oversight for Lead Maintenance Activity's development and management of Integrated Test Plans in accordance with applicable NAVSEA Standard Items.
2. Serves as the Government's representative on the Total Ship Testing Task Group for individual ship availabilities as outlined in NAVSEA Standard Item 009-67.
3. Conducts fact finding visits to ships in maintenance availabilities and industrial facilities.
4. Evaluates and analyzes production schedules, test schedules, and various Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAMs) from a variety of sources and maintenance providers as they pertain to the execution of the Integrated Test Plan.
5. Liaisons with NAVSEA project engineers and test personnel and other personnel, as required.
6. Participates in all relevant availability planning, production execution and test meetings during the planning and execution phases of individual ship availabilities.
7. Leads MARMC's work certification process for individual ship availabilities and facilitates completion of work certification processes by all maintenance activities. Coordinates work certification efforts between Government Project Team, LMA and ship's force.
8. Evaluates Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) for completed tests, evaluates results for completeness and accuracy, and coordinates with Project Support Engineers to technically adjudicate issues.
9. Provides detailed briefs and periodic status reports to senior Government managers regarding the work certification status and test program execution on individual ship availabilities.
10. Monitor technical and status reports for accuracy using technological techniques to increase efficiencies and control costs.
11. Perform engineering/technical services, monitoring and reporting during CNO availabilities and continuous maintenance events.
12. Perform engineering/data and technical services, monitoring and reporting in support of CNO availability close out, deployment preparedness, assessments, and INSURV readiness.
13. May require participation on Sea Trials.
14. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
