More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Energy** We address the complete spectrum of energy challenges, including clean and renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon management, hydropower and dams, thermal, geothermal and wind power generation, and transmission and distribution\. **Job Summary** Seeking a creative, highly talented experienced **Senior** **Process Engineer** for immediate employment in the Austin office to provide process engineering support for research and development, testing, troubleshooting, and detail design of various Air Pollution Control \(APC\) processes and waste water projects\. Candidate must be capable of working independently and be able to allocate work to junior process staff\. Position involves moderate travel in support of projects \(up to 30%\) with the majority of travel in an industrial / power plant environment\. The incumbent can look forward to projects including development and commercialization of value\-added APC processes for coal\-fired power plants\. These technology offerings include, but are not limited to, those designed to significantly reduce the emission of pollutants that contribute to acid rain, global warming and mercury contamination\. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: + Development of material and energy balances for equipment and line sizing + Development of PFDs, P&IDs, project lists and registers, equipment and instrumentation datasheets, and process control strategies + Technology evaluation for process selection + Pilot and full\-scale process evaluation and troubleshooting + Data analysis and reporting + Manual and report development + Training of client staff in proper process operation and maintenance practices + Process commissioning and start\-up support + Process troubleshooting and optimization + Field testing and measurement support **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor of science in engineering + 10\+ years of experience + Experience with Flue Gas Desulphurization and Coal Combustion Products + Capable of functioning with spreadsheets, word processing and standard engineering software + Willingness to travel on occasion **Preferred Qualifications** + Power plant experience + Waste Water Treatment experience **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
