Minimum Requirements: Minimum Experience Requirements:
Associates Degree in a Technological or Electronics Field of Study. Formal classroom education with formal training in the field of electronic equipment maintenance and equipment manufacturing training. Four years' operating experience with military search, acquisition, ground control, height finding or fire control radar systems. Five years' related experience in:
o Radar and radar theory
o Video signal processing and recording
o Test equipment
o Computer operations
o Electronic Warfare
o Radio Communications
Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable. Cross-trained and qualified to operate multiple TCTS systems.
Ability to speak, read, and write English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Possess a valid driver's license. Must obtain and maintain a government Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Transferable Secret Clearance.
Job Description: Works closely with the OPFOR IADS Commander Support Training Specialist in preparation of available EW threat presentations and scenarios for upcoming Large Force Exercises.
Interfaces with Mission Coordinators on daily and weekly threat system availability and OPFOR IADS Commander's surface and air threat level desires. Modifies mission profiles as necessary to fulfil threat level mission objectives.
Responsible for aircrew mission support (IADS), mission support of aircrew members either individually, or in combination with EW/IADS RTO instructors and direction from the OPFOR IADS Commander Support Training Specialists.
Trains EW Range Operators for the purpose of seamless fusion of the IADS presentations and selected threat levels designated by the OPFOR IADS Commander Support Training Specialists
Operate and train EW Operators on all IADS threat systems workstations located in JCF as well as the IADS presentations and selected threat levels determined by NSAWC schoolhouses and OPFOR IADS Commander Support Training Specialists
Assists Mission Coordinators regarding technical or administrative issues with all IADS threat systems workstations to ensure customer satisfaction. Provides input and corrections as well as modifications to achieve training objectives.
Supports engineering evaluation of technical design features/changes to the operation of the IADS systems and subsystems to assist the development of the physical/functional fidelity requirements to be incorporated into the applicable threat training devices.
Utilizes SharePoint and Maximo to document daily flight activity as it relates to asset reliability
Utilizes IEMS to document maintenance and manage assigned activities and resources.
Position requires ability to provide coverage outside normal working hours.
