**Job Summary** We are currently seeking an experienced individual who has worked in a rail transit operating environment\. The position will join our Rail\-Transit team in Baltimore, MD\. As a quality assurance auditor you will independently review design submittals for facilities\. Systems and rolling stock and all submittals related to the operations and maintenance program to assure compliance with the contract between the Maryland Transit Administration \(MTA\) and the O & M Concessionaire\. Concessionaires plans, procedures, drawings, specifications will be reviewed for content and updates\. Concessionaire’s subcontractor work will also be subject to review and subject to compliance with the contract\. You will review the Developers quality control and assurance processes to ascertain compliance with their plans and contract documents\.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Read and interpret drawings, plans, procedures, and specifications
+ Prepare written reports concerning compliance with contract documents
+ Evaluate proposed facilities, systems and vehicle configuration for suitability to the O&M engineering and maintenance staff
+ Prepare and deliver presentations to MTA staff
+ Audit execution of maintenance activities
+ Audit testing of systems and vehicles
+ Audit Developers documentation process and product to verify compliance with contract documents
+ Perform other necessary duties are required
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in related field
+ 10\+ years of full\-time employment in Rail Transit industry working in operations and maintenance, 5 years of which should be in managing rail transit operations with familiarity of vehicle and systems maintenance activities, transit schedules, SOPs, EOPs, preparing Rule Books, control center operations, FTA regulations and the facilities required to support efficient operations and maintenance performance

+ The ideal candidate will be familiar and have experience with organizing and managing rail transit operations and understand how the transit project design, construction, and manufacturing processes relate to the needs for operations and maintenance efficiency
