**Job Summary** The PM/CM Division of AECOM is actively seeking a highly qualified and talented Program Controls Specialist for immediate employment in the Atlanta, Ga\. office\. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career that consist of implementing and directing program controls, document controls, cost management \(EVM\) and scheduling on all types of large major construction projects / program, specific to the construction industry\. This position requires a working knowledge of Oracle PRIMAVERA 6 scheduling software and PCM or equivalent\. Must have above average skills in analyzing baseline schedule and schedule versa cost and have the ability to updates and monitor trends of schedule delays and their impact on cost / budget\. Assist in tracking the progress of contract change orders, and be able to provide in\-depth analysis of schedule’s for claim avoidance and delays, to and validate time extension request to mitigate potential risk to the client, while managing the development of all reports, proposals, and initiate any updates to the current document controls procedures and processes\.
In addition, the candidate will provide oversight management to the current document controls specialist and \(P\-6\) PRIMAVERA scheduling specialist in support of the program’s project managers on project budgets, Estimate to Completes \(ETC\) and Estimate at Completion \(EAC\)\. The qualified candidate will work in concert with the program manager to support the client in the development of the financial section of the monthly report and provides complex analysis to determine impacts on the client’s master program schedule\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in related field \(accounting, business, marketing, engineering, etc\.\) or equivalent work experience
+ 10\+ years of program controls, scheduling, document controls, EVM, CPI & SPI in the construction field
+ Familiarity with project management processes and procedures
+ Or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience
+ Ability to engage with senior technical and management staff to obtain necessary information and commitment for a specific effort
+ Leadership skills; recognized among peers as a subject\-matter expert
+ Creativity and sound management of “get the job done” and other related skills
+ Understanding of client needs and communicate to the Operation Manager so that they may provide a job kick\-off and follow up with client as needed
+ Excellent use of the complete suite of Micro Soft Office products and applications and Oracle PRIMAVRA 6
