**Job Summary** AECOM's Design Consulting Services Group is hiring within their Transportation Business Unit\. AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented **Survey Field Technician** for immediate employment in the Denver office\. Our in\-office Survey/ROW team is a multidisciplinary, full\-service surveying team\. We have employees located across the state to support our client’s demands\. We perform topographic surveys and ROW development for all 5 Colorado Department of Transportation regions\. Our team provides surveying services for land development, oil and gas, City and County of Denver as well as Denver International Airport, mine surveys and large scale LiDAR surveys\.
The incumbent can look forward to highway projects and all phases of subdivision development\. This is a great entry\-level opportunity for someone looking to start a career in Survey or ROW\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Will be responsible for various tasks in the field \(including bending and lifting\)
+ Responsible for safely executing various survey field activities related to the construction of structures, bridges, and roads
+ This position requires the flexibility to serve as a cross\-disciplinary resource to best serve the needs of the AECOM Corporation
**Minimum Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Understanding of various construction and field tasks
+ Knowledge of mathematical principles
+ Previous coursework in surveying, engineering, drafting, mathematics, physics or other relevant technical/scientific programs
+ Ability to lift up to 75lbs
+ Ability to stand and sit as needed on project work sites
+ Ability to safely navigate construction work sites – roads, buildings, and areas with uneven terrain
+ Ability to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions
+ Must have a strong interest in a career within Survey and Right\-of\-Way services
+ Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and the ability to drive regularly
+ Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre\-employment substance abuse test
