**Job Summary** AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented water resources/transportation engineer for immediate employment in the Atlanta, Georgia office\. In this position you will work in a team environment, for both water resources related projects and road and highway related projects\. Water resources related responsibilities include: assisting in the development of MS4 programs, preparing training presentations/programs and instructing various stormwater related topics across the state, designing post\-construction stormwater BMPs for roadway and highway projects\. Transportation related responsibilities include: learning and implementing the project delivery process in the roads and highway design field, understanding the interaction between all disciplines within the transportation team, design and preparation of erosion control, hydrology, drainage design, post\-construction stormwater management, and construction plans and reports\. You will work on very diverse, high profile projects\.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare drawings and visual aids
• Perform field work
• Perform standard computations and/or analysis
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
+ 10\+ years of design experience in stormwater management, site design, roadway design, or combination thereof
+ Or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience\.
+ Experienced in AutoCAD or Microstation
+ Understanding of Georgia state/local stormwater requirements and guidelines
+ Excellent communication and writing skills \(comfortable with preparing and giving presentations\)
+ Ability to engage with senior technical and management staff to obtain necessary information and commitment for a specific effort
+ Leadership skills; recognized among peers as a subject\-matter expert
+ Familiar with Micro Soft Office applications software
