Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications are required. Extensive travel may be required. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Secret level Security Clearance. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Most positions involve work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Some positions involve work in environments (e.g., shipboard, labs, outside locations, etc.) where mechanical equipment, weapons, etc. are being installed, tested, analyzed/monitored, operated, and/or maintained. Equipment may be loud and noisy or have exposed moving components. Such positions may involve routine lifting up to 50 pounds, regular handling, grasping, kneeling and carrying, and constant use of vision and mental alertness is required. Job Description: AECOM is seeking an Program Manager in our Crane, IN office. Purpose and Scope: Oversee programs providing multi-disciplinary systems engineering, software analysis and support in the design, development, implementation, operation and maintenance of Navy/Joint/DoD systems. Responsible for the planning, control and direction of staff and customer support personnel for one or more contracts/task orders. Directly support the maintenance of the current base and develop and implement new business strategies. Supervise and manage program activities in multiple Electronic Warfare disciplines covering technical and/or non-technical areas. Such areas include engineering design, development, testing, implementation, operation and maintenance of diverse integrated electronic and mechanical systems; operations research; asset management, and program documentation. Essential Responsibilities: 1) Provide administrative and technical leadership in the completion of multiple contracts, including responsibility for cost, schedule and overall performance. 2) Plan and procure necessary staffing to achieve work completion milestones and deliverables. 3) Monitor fulfillment of contract requirements to ensure quality and timeliness of services/deliverables to various customers. 4) Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership to and review the work of assigned staff and/or contracts. 5) Interface with customers on a regular basis for support of engineering and program management activities. Monitor customer feedback and advise on a broad range of issues related to products/services being delivered. 6) Participate in business development including identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies and managing proposal development. 7) Perform multi-disciplinary analysis of system designs to determine compliance with specifications and standards. 8) Direct the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. 9) Support planning and execution of program reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, and other meetings as required Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
