**About the Business Line** **Environment**
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary**
In this assignment, you will be part of a team of professionals responsible for environmental assessments and permitting\. The successful candidate will directly interact with multi\-discipline teams within AECOM, as well as clients and contractors\. The position has extensive potential for career growth\. Service sectors include transportation, power, oil and gas, chemical/pharmaceutical, and pipelines\. Position reports to a Senior Project/Program Manager or a Project Director\.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Providing strategy development, technical support, and leadership in report preparation, ecological evaluations, and field investigations
+ Work will include but is not limited to, waters and wetland delineation, vegetation and wildlife surveys, threatened and endangered species surveys, and research/preparation of local, state and federal permit applications and technical studies associated with:
+ Wetlands
+ Flood Hazard Area
+ Water Obstruction and Encroachment
+ Waterfront Development Permits
+ Coastal Permit/Coastal Zone Management
+ Fish & Wildlife Special Use
+ NEPA Compliance
• Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Permit
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science, Physical Science, Environmental Planning, Environmental Engineering, or related field with a focus on environmental assessment and permitting
+ Minimum 4 years of related experience
+ Substantial experience with NJDEP regulatory requirements
+ Experience with other state and federal environmental permitting and permit conditions
+ FERC and/or gas/petroleum pipeline and/or linear project related experience
+ Strong organizational and multi\-tasking skills
+ Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to clearly communicate with client, field staff and contractors
+ Willingness to work on various assignments within the tri\-state area \(PA/NJ/DE\) and Mid\-Atlantic region
+ Ability to work independently or with a team
+ Professional demeanor and team\-oriented
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
+ Valid Driver's License
