More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Environment** Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\. **Job Summary** The Environment Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Engineer for immediate employment in the Cleveland, OH office\. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Engineering\. This position will perform work as part of a project team and provide overall design and technical support for geo\-environmental projects \(e\.g\. solid waste management facility permitting and design, site\-civil design, hydrologic and hydraulic \(H&H\) evaluations/design, environmental remediation design, slope stabilization, stormwater management, pond/impoundment closure, etc\.\)\. The position may involve onsite/field resident engineering and construction quality assurance support\. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: + Designs, plans, and performs engineering duties in the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental health hazards utilizing various engineering disciplines + Work may include landfill, waste treatment, site remediation, etc\. + The team is responsible for a wide range of designs and evaluations typically centering around the permitting, evaluation, design and construction administration of civil/environmental engineering projects + Perform work under the supervision of an experienced project manager + Work on Civil/Environmental Engineering projects such as environmental permit preparation, design of geo\-civil engineering systems, and construction oversight + Calculations, engineering drawing preparation, document generation, technical writing, cost estimation, technical specifications, review of regulations, and other related services associated with the full scope of a civil/environmental engineering design project + Interact with multi\-discipline and multi\-office teams within AECOM **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, or related degree in engineering + Proficient in standard office computer applications and software, to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc\.\) + Working knowledge of AutoCAD + Ability to perform engineering calculations and be familiar with standard civil design concepts + Analytical and interpersonal skills + Must be able to work effectively in team situations + Solid planning and organizational skills + Strong technical writing skills + Valid driver's license + Willing to travel, if required, to provide field resident engineering oversight on jobs that may potentially last several days or weeks + Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre\-employment substance abuse test **Preferred Qualifications** None **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
