Come share your passion with us\. **About the Business Line** **Government** AECOM’s Global Support Services \(GSS\) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs\. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere\. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world\. GSS supports the U\.S\. Government, non\-U\.S\. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support\. **Job Summary** The Transition Initiatives for Stabilization Plus \(TIS\+\) is a program funded by the United States Agency for International Development \(USAID\) and implemented by AECOM International Development Inc\. The TIS\+ program aims to promote peace and stability in Somalia by increasing the visibility of, and confidence in Government through improved service delivery, creating collaborative and strategic partnerships among government institutions, the private sector, civil society and communities\. The Technical Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of assistance towards the design and implementation of bridging plans led by the local government\. The specific roles for the Coordinator include but are not limited to; + Assist in the development and revision when needed, the criteria for participation in bridging activites; + Assist TIS\+ teams in identification of communities ready for the bridging activities; + Support the design, development and revisions of tools, assessments and materials as required\. + Identify potential state and non state actors, private sector and other donor funded programs who can contribute towards the bridging plans; + Coordinate with participating communities, local government, private sector and civil society to ensure buy in to the bridging plan and related activities; + Provide linkages to the FGS level for activities requiring further support; + Support development of MOUs for the bridging activities\. **Minimum Requirements** + 10 years’ experience implementing governance or stability related programs\. + Extensive knowledge of and experience implementing in Somalia\. + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field\. + Fluent in written and spoken English\. + Fluent in written and spoken Somali\. **Preferred Qualifications** N/A **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
