**About the Business Line** **Government**
AECOM’s Global Support Services \(GSS\) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs\. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere\. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world\. GSS supports the U\.S\. Government, non\-U\.S\. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support\.
**Job Summary** The National Governments marketing team is looking for part\-time, as\-needed support from a proposal manager experienced leading and writing proposals for A/E/C industry companies to DOD and Civilian Federal government agencies\. This position is typically busiest in the summer and the fall\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Developing a proposal outline that is compliant with the RFP and helps sell our company’s capabilities
+ Writing and editing proposal content such as executive summaries, resumes, project descriptions, and other narratives
+ Interviewing project managers and technical staff to identify relevant experience and key staff
+ Developing concepts for graphics, including organization charts, maps, flow charts, and matrices
+ Leading proposal reviews by management and technical staff
+ Directing final production and providing QC of the final product
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ 6\+ years of experience in marketing and proposals for AEC firm specializing in Federal government pursuits
+ Ability to work in Word, Power Point, Excel, InDesign
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 10\+ years experience preferred
+ The ideal candidate with be familiar with AECOM’s portfolio of Federal experience as well as top competitors
+ The ideal candidate with have industry \(AEC\) experience with a range of markets \(architectural, engineering, infrastructure, environmental, etc\.\)
+ Experience with proposals for the DOD and civilian agencies, in the US and OCONUS, is preferred
