**Job Summary** The Senior Marketing/Proposal Specialist works as part of the Los Angeles Metro marketing team\. The position can be located in Los Angeles or Orange, CA\. The ideal candidate is a marketing professional who is a team player and has an eye for detail\.
The Senior Marketing/Proposal Specialist collaborates with the capture team on messaging, strategy, and teaming\.
The position’s primary responsibility is to lead and produce marketing proposals for the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry\. This includes support for pre\-positioning and go / no go decision making, as well as presentations and printed qualification materials in response to formal and informal client solicitations\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
+ Interacts with all levels of technical and support staff\. Comfortable with working with senior leadership and executives
+ Collaborate with marketing peers – proposal managers, coordinators, and graphic designers – to produce winning proposals
+ Responsible for tracking progress of assigned opportunities in Salesforce
+ Participates in the maintenance of marketing information, such as project sheets and credentials, and Salesforce proposal and project data
+ Undertakes special projects, such as award submittals, as assigned
+ Works under supervision of the Metro marketing leader
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, English or Design
+ 6\+ years equivalent experience
+ Experience in developing and leading multi\-office/multi\-business line proposals, statements of qualifications, and other client\-facing documents
+ Ability to operate autonomously and within a team setting
+ Effective and personable verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite 6/Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in CRM, Salesforce preferred
+ Experience in coaching presentation/interviews
