Minimum Requirements: ** Requires MINIMUM active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility - Active TS Preferred**
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Security or a related discipline and 5 to 7 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Experience directly supporting federal government computer networks and IA is preferred.
• Experience with NetIQ , Tenable Nessus, and Event Tracker
• One or more certifications as follows: CISSP, Security+, MSCE with focus on security.
• Knowledge of 800-53 and FISMA templates
• Systems Administration experience, to include Active directory experience for the following: read, groupings, permissions, etc.
• Laptop scanning configuration experience.
• Proven ability to organize and document standard operating procedures (SOPS)
Desired Qualifications:
• Desired experience Found Stone, Fluke, Citrix, RedHat, VMWare, Active directory , Security and Information Event Manager tools and similar tools used for incident response, event correlation, vulnerability assessment
• Experience with FISCAM, and DISA security templates
• Excellent trouble shooting and problem resolution skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Description: AECOM has an immediate opportunity for a mid-level Information Assurance (IA) Security Analyst to join our team supporting the Department of State in Arlington, Virginia! Requires Active Secret clearance and TS/SCI eligibility.
The candidate will be responsible for securing a nationwide enterprise network along with daily duties of access control for over 5000 worldwide users for a large US government organization.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Will provide Information Assurance (IA) support, and IT Security support, to include: LAN/WAN design, system security analysis, secured communications systems, risk and vulnerability assessment.
• Provide support for vulnerability/compliance assessments and scanning utilizing various tools.
• Prepare and analyze reports from scans.
• Use Active Directory to ensure Group Share/Permissions.
• Support securing a nationwide enterprise network.
• Log/audit monitoring.
• Use NIST 800-53, FISMA, FISCAM and DISA security templates.
• Balance the management of multiple IT projects and tasks.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Will work independently with initiative and innovation.
• Other duties as assigned.
