We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe\. **Job Summary** This position is with Hunt Construction Group and will be working in Rome, Italy\. Provides overall administrative and technical direction for one large complex project or multiple medium size projects through subordinate mangers\. Performs all functions and responsibilities in partnership with the company’s culture, corporate vision, ethics and code of conduct\. Essential Responsibilities/Functions + Administer and supervise construction activities associated with one or more construction projects\. + Maintain good business relations with the owner and architect\. + Assume a pro\-active role in the bidding and negotiations for the project\. + Authorized to make commitments to the client, architect, and subcontractors as appropriate to the successful completion of the project in conformity with company policy and management direction\. + Make decisions independently on subcontracting issues and methods\. + Qualify subcontractors and vendors for the construction project and upon selection, prepare sub contracts and/or purchase orders\. + Ensure that all subcontracts and purchase orders are executed in a timely fashion\. + Negotiate and price all owner change orders and execute in a timely fashion\. + Direct preparation of a project schedule and continually review to make sure the project schedule is adhered to or modified as necessary\. + Provide advice, guidance, mentoring and direction to subordinate project managers toward achievement of their personal development goals\. + Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills and competencies to enhance individual innovation and productivity\. + Interface with other company departments as necessary which may include schedules, budget changes, material and equipment expenditures, estimating, payroll, and personnel matters\. **Minimum Requirements** + Four year engineering or business degree or equivalent combination in technical training and experience\.
