**Job Summary** We are currently seeking an **Senior Project Surveyor** to be based in our London office in the 35 strong Engineering Services Cost Management Team, to provide a comprehensive, accurate and value driven service for large, high profile and exciting key commercial, corporate, residential, health, education, media and technology clients for both national and international based projects
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ To assist Directors / Associates in leading and delivery of all aspects of quantity surveying from inception of a project through to completion\. Dealing with a number of projects at the same time, varying in complexity\.
+ To achieve the highest standards of professional competence and to demonstrate this ability in all dealings with clients and professional contacts, reinforcing the profile of the company\.
+ To achieve the highest standards of excellence in all areas whether it is Personal and Professional, Administrative, or Technical expertise\.
+ To be aware of and develop marketing opportunities and where appropriate bring to the attention of Directors and the Business Development Department, in order that they may assist in following up potential leads enabling the development of new business\.
+ To maintain and develop good relationships with clients, take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry\.
+ To play an actual part in sector specialisms and the development of these groups\.
+ Assist Directors / Associates in coaching members of staff\.
+ To act as a supervisor / mentor for current graduates and work with them to achieving competences for the APC\.
+ Assist in the training and mentoring of our unique and industry leading academy for A level students, helping them attain their degree and develop their careers\.
+ To promote a positive attitude within the team, to motivate staff and to assist them achieve the best possible work performance\.

**Minimum Requirements**
+ Able to work under own initiative where appropriate, but also keen to work as part of a team and to be mentored and to develop and progress in their career development
+ MEP Cost management experience on international projects including Africa and the Middle East
+ Very good verbal and written communication skills – Client facing
+ Very good numeracy skills
+ Keenness to challenge, but in an engaging, non aggressive way
+ An enthusiasm to go the extra mile, to provide great client service
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Degree qualified in relevant subject, will consider engineering based qualifications
