**Job Summary** AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Project Manager for immediate employment for the Las Vegas, NV office\. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
+ Oversee design projects, develop and expand our civil and transportation capabilities and project backlog in the Southern Nevada Area
+ Design freeways, municipal streets, public works and site development projects
+ Manage projects through all phases including design, client coordination, etc\.
+ Pursue and position projects, and develop relationships with local clients
+ Provide market knowledge and local insights into the design, planning, engineering & construction industry
+ Develop and nurture key client relationships locally and in the neighboring cities
+ Significantly increase AECOM’s client base and revenue in the Southern Nevada Region
+ Be responsible for identifying business leads in the local markets, and pre\-qualifying these opportunities
+ Coordinate team efforts for proposal submittals, responses, interviews, presentations, contract negotiations and related activities
+ Raise the level of awareness of the AECOM brand and thought leadership in the local market
+ Strengthen AECOM’s connections with the local government, industry policy makers, universities, private developers, and the design institutes, by extending existing relationships to facilitate new partnerships
+ Assist the management team in regional business planning and regular reviews
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
+ 10\+ years' experience in civil engineering/transportation design and business development
+ 5\+ years' recent experience working in Southern Nevada
+ Must have proven leadership ability and sound judgement
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Effective presentation skills
+ Must have a customer service focus
+ Must posses a PE license in NV
+ This position requires successful completion of the AECOM Project Management Certification program within 6 months of date of hire\. This certification program is a series of learning modules and is available on\-line through the AECOM Learning Management System at no financial cost to the employee
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Good working relationships with Nevada DOT, RTC, Clark County municipalities is a plus
+ Design\-build experience preferred
