**About the Business Line** **Water**
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\.
**Job Summary** AECOM is seeking a qualified and highly motivated individual for an entry level engineering position within the Water Department\. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Perform technical engineering tasks under the supervision of an experienced engineer; the engineering tasks will be related to preliminary and final design Land development projects, water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations and pipelines
+ Perform shop drawing reviews and assist with project site investigations and construction progress monitoring
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited university or college
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ The ability to work well in teams
+ Proficient in MS Office Suite \(Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint\)
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Course work or experience with focus on water and wastewater treatment and hydraulics
+ Water distribution system, wastewater collection system and hydraulic modeling
+ Prior engineering and/or construction experience
+ Registered EIT
