We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe\. **Job Summary** Location: New York City Perform Human Resources related duties in various HR functional areas, to includeRecruitment, Compensation, and HR support to assigned Business Partners Duties and responsibilities: Talent Acquisition: Conduct recruitment activities for exempt and non\-exempt positions for Field\-based Construction management positions \(Such as Project Managers, superintendents, estimators\) as well as Corp office\- based positions \(such as Marketing, Finance, Legal, Risk, IT, BIM,administration\) as required\.This will include posting and monitoring of Open Reqs within Kenexa Brass Ring \(Recruitment/Applicant Tracking System\), conducting phone and personal interviews, making recommendations to hiring managers, negotiating offers, and completing the requisite documentation and associated onboarding tasks\. Workingwith social media \(Linked In Recruiter , twitter, or others\)create and maintain a database of potential candidates for future sourcing needs \(pipeline development\.\)Managestatistics on costs, days to fill, and applicant flow to assure company is using best practices and resources for recruitment\.Maintain requisitions, searches and activity within established company benchmark statistics\. Register candidateswith Hire Right for background/drug screening\.Track progress, inform hiring managers when cleared, and adjudicate cases as required\. Create/update Job Descriptions\.Keep apprised on industry trendsin order to capture up\-to\-date competencies and skill sets for job descriptions\.Make FLSA status recommendations for position descriptions, using the FLSA guidelines\.Organize Career Fairs, College Recruitment, and Co\-Op activities in the NY/NJ market in conjunction with the NY/NJ hiring managers’ needs\. Organize recruitment for Interns in the NY/NJ markets\. When required, the HR Generalist will also act as back\-up to the other HR staff in Talent Acquisition \(filling in for vacations, or assisting with high volume, immediate needs as they occur\.\) Compensation: Conduct Compensation analysis and auditing of data for accuracy and fairness throughout the year\. Prepare specialized reports on compensation information and work with HR and company leadership to provide statistics, trends and analysis\. Benchmark all Building Construction positions to internal and external market Participate in gathering data for year\-end compensation process\. Organize spreadsheets for ease of administering comp program and participate in data entry and auditing as required\. Training and Development: Working in conjunction with O&ED Director, assist in various projects, such as New Hire Orientations, Internships and other ad hoc programs as needed\. HR Departmental Support: Provide HR departmental supportanswering the HR Customer Service phone line and responding to inquiries in the HR Customer service and Building Construction mailboxes\. Become familiar with policies and procedures within Tishman and AECOM\. **Minimum Requirements** + Relevant 4 year degree, and 5\-10 years Human Resources generalist experience with an emphasis on Talent Acquisition and Compensation\. + Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, and independent judgment for handling sensitive information, conducting legal and effective interviews and handling of data and reports that impact HR financial reports to the company\. + Prior experience in performing research and interpretation of regulations \(Federal and State\)\. + Prior experience working with various HR online systems and databases\. + Strong Excel and Access skills\. **Preferred Qualifications** + Prior experience with Oracle and Kenexa Brass Ring is highly desirable\. + Possess capacity to operate within or without structures, policies and guidelines, understanding the overall impact decisions may have on employee population, benefits packages, and Human Resources practices\. + Possess strong verbal and written communications skills for dealing with all levels of the organization and conveying information regarding all Human Resources activities\. + Possess eagerness to learn and develop in the field of Human Resources through certification programs, association meetings, classes and through active participation in a variety of company\-specific Human Resources initiatives\. **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
