**Job Summary** The Transportation Division of AECOM is actively seeking a Transportation Project Manager with a mix of management, engineering, business development, and client service experience for immediate employment in the Seattle, WA office\. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate successful management of public sector transportation projects\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Plan, organize, and supervise work of a staff of professionals and technicians, including subconsultants
+ Coordinate the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety and organization of internal technical and support staff, and subconsultants
+ Facilitate project decisions regarding technical approaches and strategies, issue resolution and solutions, cost and scheduling performance
+ Organize and conduct internal, external and client meetings
+ Provide technical guidance to his/her project staff
+ Effectively apply leadership and delegation skills in a working team environment
**Minimum Requirements**
+ BS in Civil Engineering
+ 8\+ years of experience \(with at least 5 Years as a Project Manager or Design Manager on a significant transportation infrastructure project\[s\]\)
+ Understanding of project management principles
+ Thorough knowledge of the engineering and contract delivery process \(including planning and feasibility analysis, preliminary engineering, and final design\) for roadway and/or linear structure related projects\.
+ Familiarity with Marketing and Business Development principles and strategies
+ Excellent communications skills
+ Proficient in the design of transportation projects with significant roadway components for municipal, regional, and/or state transportation agencies in Washington State, including at the design/project management level
+ Adept at interacting with senior agency management and technical counterparts
+ Leadership experience in the development and procurement of new work
+ Familiarity with AASHTO and in\-state agency \(e\.g\., SDOT, WSDOT, Sound Transit\) transportation design guidelines and requirements
+ Ability to oversee the preparation, compilation, and delivery of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate \(PSE\) design document packages and other technical deliverables
+ Capacity to manage multi\-disciplinary technical teams
+ Demonstrated success in project delivery \(scope, schedule, budget, and change management\)
+ Licensed in Washington State as a Professional Civil Engineer
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 15\+ years experience preferred
+ Experience as project manager on at least one and design manager on at least one other transportation infrastructure project \(with significant roadway components\), each with an estimated construction value in excess of $25 million
+ Senior level transportation project delivery experience with one or more municipalities in the Puget Sound such as City of Seattle, as well as with regional or statewide agencies such as King County, Sound Transit, or WSDOT
+ Third party coordination management experience \(such as public utilities, transit agencies, or other agencies having jurisdiction within a given client project corridor\)
+ Quality Assurance/Quality Control compliance experience in a senior capacity
+ Demonstrated success in achieving scope, schedule, and budget goals on a large\-scale transportation project
