**Job Summary**
Our Basingstoke Project Management business unit continues to grow to service the London and South East of England Infrastructure sector, where it has successfully secured positionswith many high profile clients and some of the largest projects and programs in the region\.
As a direct result of this growth we are currently seeking to recruit a full time Assistant Project Manager with the following:
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ As AssistantProject Manager you will work with Project Managers & Project Director to successfully manage thedelivery of capitalprojects\.
+ The role will cover the entire project lifecycle from initial inception through the design and procurement process through delivery and onto the commissioning phase
+ You will possess the skills and experience to join the team on technically complex projects and for developing collaborative relationships with our clients and other team members
+ Successful delivery of multiple projects with minimum supervision\.
+ Have the ability to operate effectively within a co\-located environment with the Client's, Consultant's and Contractor's project delivery teams\.
+ Ability to work within a partnering environment, form effective working relationships and make a positive outcome to the investment programme
+ Programming
+ Preparation of monthly PM reports
+ Preparation of Risk Registers
+ Management and Contract Administration \(NEC3\) of a portfolio of projects\.
+ Commercially and contractually aware\.
+ A good understanding of the characteristics of projects, over the project life cycle\.
+ Good working knowledge of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques\.
+ Solid knowledge of the construction industries technical matters, the different procurement routes, infrastructure construction processes and technologies\.
+ Good understanding of project performance metrics including Earned Value Management\.
+ Commitment to a high level of ESH performances at the workplace and in the local environment\.

**Minimum Requirements**
+ Able to work on large complex projects and working to set strategies to deliver the project goals from brief, through procurement and construction to project handover stage
+ Experience of working on technically complex infrastructure projects \(Rail, Utilities or Power\)\.
+ Commercially aware, in terms of understanding the key components of Cost and Change Management processes
+ Able to prepare project reports, chair and prepare meeting meetings, agree meeting structures
+ Experienced at programming the various stages of a project, along with monitoring and reporting
Understanding of contracts,
+ Good networking skills
+ Both site and office based experience on a variety of project types including civil and building infrastructure projects\.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Professional Qualified – ideally Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Degree
+ Chartered Status/ or working towards, with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, APM or other equivalent institution
+ Ideally have 2\- 5 years of experience in the Project Management of multiple multi\-discipline engineering design and construction projects \(>£10m Capital Expenditure\)\.
