Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) or state Department of Transportation (DOT) specific certifications • Valid Driver's License • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test Job Description: AECOM is seeking a well-rounded, self-motivated field technician to support our staff of experienced Project Managers. This position will be based out of our Pittsburgh, PA office. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Assist in the completion of field work to include site assessments and remediation activities consisting of: • Taking soil, groundwater, and air samples for environmental projects • Monitoring drilling operations • Data collection • Managing subcontractors to work safely, complying with the requirements of the scope of work • Supporting site remediation efforts to include installation of groundwater and vapor recovery wells • Planning, implementing and/or compiling sensitive field/ laboratory investigation and testing programs AECOM is a premier, fully integrated professional and technical services firm positioned to design, build, finance and operate infrastructure assets around the world for public- and private-sector clients.
