Job Description: Spectrum Certification Engineer will support the AFSMO Spectrum Support Directorate (AFSMO/SQ), have a thorough understanding of the NTIA Spectrum Certification process, and be responsible for the comprehensive and timely completion of all steps required to successfully process Application for Equipment Frequency Allocation (DD Form 1494) forms. Should possess an understanding and experience using Equipment Location-Certification Information Database (EL-CID), Spectrum Certification System (SCS), and Spectrum XXI. Required to apply the knowledge of the principles of RF Engineering to DoD spectrum-dependent systems (e.g., radio, radar), frequency band studies, and EMI/EMC analyses and tests.
