**About the Business Line** **Transportation**
We provide professional services in areas such as aviation, transit, freight rail, highways and bridges, planning, and ports and marine\. **Job Summary** This position will be part of the Miami Office Roadway Department, which supports a wide range of transportation and site development projects in south Florida\.
Particular design elements include: horizontal and vertical alignments, signing and pavement markings, traffic control plans, drainage analysis and design, cross sections and roadway plans preparation\.
The designer will utilized Microstation, AutoCAD and any other engineering software required for the roadway design\.
**Minimum Requirements** • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or appropriate discipline
• Must have passed the Florida EIT examination
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic and strong desire to learn
• Some experience with Microstation or AutoCAD
• Must be interested in development of road and highway design from concept to final construction documents
