Our design process is based on energy\-efficient building systems, and appropriate selection of materials and form to maximize environmental conditions and long\-term performance\. **Job Summary** The AECOM architectural department in Denver, CO is expanding and working on a wide range of projects around the country and abroad\. The office is actively seeking a creative, highly talented **Architect** for immediate employment in the Denver, CO office\. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in architectural design and documentation specific to commercial buildings\. We are looking for an eager licensed architect to take ownership of existing projects and assist in managing junior staff to further the architectural department's accomplishments\. If you are looking for exciting, challenging projects in multiple market sectors and are a licensed architect with at least 3 years of building design and documentation experience, we would look forward to receiving your application\. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Conceive and develop conceptual designs for commercial buildings using Autodesk Revit + Conduct code analysis of designs + Present designs to staff internally and to clients + Manage outside design support and sub\-consultants + Coordinate full development of construction documents and specifications for projects + Investigate, explore and implement usage of new software for architectural project delivery + Develop pragmatic solutions with BIM technologies for architectural practice + Develop project specific design and program requirements + Coordinate project execution with outside consultant + Conduct contract administration services **Minimum Requirements** + Licensed Architect with ability to obtain Colorado license within 6 months of hire + Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or related area + 3\+ years Project Architect experience developing solutions for routine technical problems with limited scope + Have demonstrated experience supervising and providing technical guidance and assistance to project teams + Diverse knowledge of architectural principles, building code and practices in architectural design + Experience contributing to and/or creating presentations to prospective clients + Moderate to advanced cross\-discipline knowledge + Familiarity with Autodesk Building Design Suite software – Revit experience a must + Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre\-employment substance abuse test + U\.S\. citizenship and ability to pass a background checkrequired + Sample or portfolio of past work **Preferred Qualifications** + Graphical and technical skills using non\-traditional Autodesk products: Dynamo, 3ds Max, Showcase and Navisworks + Understanding of Best Practices for multi\-discipline BIM collaboration + Experience with Adobe: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
