**Job Summary**
**General Responsibilities:**
+ Able to perform all general CAD Drafters responsibilities;
+ To work together with other disciplines and personnel in the use of BIM tools;
+ Understand and implement AECOM’s/ Client’s CAD and BIM Standards and Guidelines;
**Generate & Maintain Models for Project Specific Requirements Such As:**
+ Develop schematic and detailed level models for MEP Systems according to AECOM’s/ Client’s Standards and Guidelines;
+ Working together with BIM Engineer to identify conflicts, incomplete or ambiguous design information;
+ Working side\-by\-side with other CAD/ BIM Technicians in various disciplines to ensure models accuracy and reliability;
+ Create new library components up to LOD 500;
+ Generate editable 2D CAD drawings from BIM Models;
+ To organise file/ data management system using BIM Project Management Tool \(eg\. Bentley ProjectWise v8i\);
**Execute Model Change Control:**
+ Develop models to illustrate contractor's questions and solutions;
+ Update working models to BIM Engineer’s sketches and comments;
+ Organise CAD/ BIM revision log;
+ Distribute new and revised models to CAD/ BIM Engineer for coordination task;
+ Produce quantity take\-off reports for VO study;
**Scheduling Support:**
+ Integrate 3D Model \(eg\. Revit\) with Project Coordination BIM Tool \(eg\. NavisWorks\)
+ To assist CAD/BIM Manager to prepare 4D BIM simulations\.
**Trade Coordination:**
+ To work with Document Controller in order to maintain submittal logs and revisions;
+ Attend model coordination meetings, if required;
+ Update models according to Subcontractor detailers upon BIM Engineer’s comments;
+ Generate shop/ fabrication 2D CAD drawings from 3D BIM Models;
**Field Coordination Support:**
+ Assist project team with construction coordination and scheduling\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Minimum 3 years’ project engineering experience;
+ Demonstrate the ability to read and understand plans, sketches, illustrations and specifications;
+ Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and direct support experience in required technology \(eg\. AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks, ProjectWise v8i, etc\.\);
+ Demonstrate effective written and verbal English language communication skills;
+ Ability to use independent judgment, problem solving ability, self\-starting and ability to prioritize based on relevant factors;
+ **This position is based at Southgate Commercial Centre\.**
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical and/ or Electrical Engineering or equivalent\.
