We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe\. **Job Summary** The Planner position will be responsible for overseeing project scheduling activities on an assigned project/s\. The individual must be able to work with little supervision, independently attend technical meetings and obtain statuses to scheduled activities Duties Develop project schedule + Work with project Managers & Engineering personnel to gather project schedule requirements, dependencies and activities and incorporate individual project schedules into the master schedule + Design or implement WBS meeting client requirements + Provide information as needed on the content, modification, or presentation of project schedule + Consult the appropriate project team members as a means of ensuring that proper planning is completed prior to the commencement of work + Development of the baseline schedule + Incorporate Resource and/or Cost data into schedules as required + Contribute to the development of working schedules, prior to proposal date, which sufficiently illustrate the sequence of work activities and contract time + Prepare and issue proposal and preliminary schedule Maintain project schedule + Overseeing all project scheduling activities + Verifying that the updates are an accurate representation of the work accomplished + Analysing "look ahead" schedules for potential problems or delays + Evaluate actual progress and provide regular schedule updates + Maintain master schedule for each project and identify and record the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled + Continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity **Minimum Requirements** + Effective communicator to be able to work with Managers & Engineering personnel + Working knowledge of computer scheduling programs, minimum requirement Microsoft Project, Primavera P6\. + Knowledge of resource loaded networks + Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite \(Word, Excel, Powerpoint\) + Proficiency in data analysis and reporting + Field experience a plus + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Strong interpersonal skills, skilled in dealing with people + Sound knowledge of schedule systems, principles and practices required + Understanding PM principiles \(PMBOK, Prince2\) + Strong analytical skills + Continually adapt and modify processes, style and approach in a dynamic environment\. **Preferred Qualifications** A relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
