Our talented experts are dedicated to managing the complexity inherent in construction projects, catering to each client’s unique needs\. We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe\.
**Job Summary** Prepare bid documents, clarify proposals received, and recommend the most qualified bidder for award\.
+ Prepare bidders lists for distribution and approval\.
+ Prepare bid documents in conjunction with field staff and architect\. Review questions with bidders, obtain answers/clarifications from architect and send to all bidders\.
+ Conduct scope meetings with bidders to ensure all bidders are basing their proposals on equal scopes of work\.
+ Prepare contract based on final scope of work\.
+ Review technical and logistical aspect of various project types\.
+ Conduct and evaluate prequalification of contractors\.
+ Prepare and present spreadsheets for analysis of bids and financial reporting based on accessible information\.
+ Assist in preparing bid information and contract preparation\.
+ Problems arise when items are not shown on drawings specified\. Decisions must be made on how to correct the problems by obtaining the correct information to make certain items are not left out that would make the contract incomplete\.
+ Coordinates the negotiation of all contracts and monitors compliance to contract requirements ensuring all conditions are satisfied before approval of the final invoice\.
+ Interprets contract provisions to help resolve claims and questions submitted by contractors\.
+ Project budget report development and analysis, highlighting potential risk and reserve issues\.
+ Receives requests, obtains estimates, updates records, initiates paperwork and follows up on requests for approval of work not previously covered in the contract\. Processes and obtains approval of contract changes\.
+ Initiates and/or conducts meeting with contractors concerning contractual problems as requested by the Project Manager\.
+ Establishes and updates records of all correspondence related to contract activity\.
+ Assists in compiling and preparing bid documents and bidders list, including inquiry preparations, request for bids and recommendations for award of contract\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Must understand construction documents \(i\.e\., plans and specifications\) and practices and be able to incorporate that knowledge into contract scopes of work\.
+ Profciency in Microsoft Excel and Word\.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction is desired\.
+ Knowledge of Project Management software is preferred\.
