Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s of Science degree OR
• Associate plus five years of related experience OR
• High School Diploma or GED plus eight years of related experience,
• Experience with use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Knowledge of material procurement processes, experience with use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, and familiarity with Primavera or other scheduling tools
• Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens.
Preferred Requirements:
• Two of experience in an instrument, electrical, or mechanical field is preferred.
• Previous WIPP experience

Position Description:
Successful candidate will be responsible for the development and planning of work control documents (WCDs) to support work at the Waste Isolation Pilot
Project (WIPP) in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This includes scoping and planning walk-downs to define and bound activity scope, leading work planning teams in the identification and analysis of hazards and selection of controls, interfacing with other support organizations and subject matter experts to provide a work document that will facilitate safe and compliant conduct of work on facility systems and components. This includes the procurement of parts for work activities.
