Requisition Number: FS104181 Interest Category: Project/Program Management Interest Sub Category: Project Management Job Title : Project Manager Employment Category/Status: full-time Type of Position: Regular Hire Country: U.S. State: New Mexico City: Carlsbad Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements: • A Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience or • A Master’s degree with three years of experience • Five years of experience in managing projects and leading cross-functional teams. • Knowledge of project performance reporting controls and systems as they pertain to Project Management , major and non-major acquisition projects. • Candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead organizations, teams and employees to successful completion of projects and tasks. • Candidate should have the ability to provide coordination, systems and processes to perform project management functions. • Knowledge of project management cost/schedule controls and systems. Understand the roles, responsibilities, authority and accountabilities of project team members • Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens Preferred Requirements: • Experience directing resources within a project organization and project team is desired. • Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating/documenting experience managing projects at commercial manufacturing facilities, concurrently managing multiple projects, managing projects in excess of 10 million dollars, and/or DOE or commercial nuclear sites. • Previous WIPP experience Additional Information: • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. • Relocation benefits are available.
