More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Environment** Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\. **Job Summary** We are looking for an enthusiastic individual keen to work within an established acoustics, vibration and air quality team\. Duties will include assisting with the preparation and setting out noise, vibration and air quality measurement equipment, undertaking measurements, downloading and analysing data and writing reports\. Duties would also include organising monitoring equipment and assisting with a range of office based work, including administration\. The successful candidate will be familiar with environmental laboratory and field work practices and be able to demonstarte the ability to follow instructions with the minimum of direct supervision appropriate to a task\. We are looking for someone who is well\-organized and detail oriented, and who can effectively manage their time\. Ideally will have good numerical and report writing skills We would expect proficiency in personal computer applications, to include Microsoft Word and Excel, with skills in PowerPoint and / or Access an advantage\. Typical duties would include assisting with preparing and setting out noise, vibration and air quality measurement equipment, undertaking measurements, organising the submission of samples to laboratories and data analyse & writing of monitoring reports\. Duties would also include organising lab facilities and assisting with a range of office based work\. The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to undertake out of hours work on occasion and be away from home for short periods of time\. Training will be provided internally and for the right candidate there would be also be opportunities for external training towards a recognised qualification **Minimum Requirements** Essential skills: Full clean driving licence Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, able to work in a team and the ability to get on with others\. Be able to undertake physical duties in an outdoor environment during day and night Hold a CSCS card or pass the operative level test within 3 months Desirable skills: Basic laboratory skill Experience in any of the following: using environmental sampling or measurement equipment , noise, vibration or air qaulity environmental or occupation monitoring monitoring equipment\. High level skills in numeracy and literacy in English\. Skills in geographic information system software packages particularly ArcGIS Experience of writing monitoring reports **Preferred Qualifications** We would require applicants ideally to have a UK Level 3 qualification in a science subject, \.
