**Job Summary** AECOM's Manchester office has a requirement for a Lead Administrator to join its existing team\. This role will play a key function in the delivery of an effective service offering\.
Key responsibilities will include:
+ Interfacing with the operating business teams to ensure services are delivered effectively and agreements on priorities are reached where there are potential conflicts in service demands on the relevant Site\.
+ Interfacing with other support services functions to provide a local site point of contact and offer co ordination for these services where appropriate
+ Provide key interface with FM, ensuring that all local FM and building issues are dealt with, and the required solution is implemented locally\. For example, contacting the FM team to get an appropriate contractor appointed and then ensuring the access, site safety and security aspects of the task being undertaken are dealt with locally
+ Responsible for ensuring that the Local Safety Officer role is undertaken by the Admin services team on the relevant Site and partners with the central health and safety specialist team to undertake these duties in a efficient, pragmatic and pro active way
+ Being the local point of contact and having responsibility for liaising with the Site landlords and partnering with the central property management function to ensure that joined up working happens in dealing with landlord and tenant matters
+ Responsible for managing the location budget for the Site, including ensuring that invoices are processed for payment correctly and in line with approval responsibilities\.
+ Fostering a culture of partnership, co operation and cross working within the admin team on the Site\. Being able to work together to share resources and provide services is a key part of the new admin services delivery model
+ Personally responsible for undertaking the provision of general administrative services including providing administration support, document formatting and finishing, diary support and local event co ordination; we expect the Lead Administrator to be very much a hands on role\.
+ The Lead Administrator will also be expected to undertake additional duties as required in a dynamic environment\. These may include but are not limited to taking on the category management role for certain aspects of business procurement such as stationery\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Experience of leading and developing teams, including effectively managing performance improvement issues Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a variety of competing demands
+ Experience of directly making and implementing efficiency improvements to deliver better service at lower cost Strong planning and organisational skills Excellent ICT skills, particularly in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
+ A “can do” approach and attitude Consistently looks for new and more effective ways to use resources to maximise outcomes, deal with changing requirements and achieve objectives
