Requisition Number: FS103533 Interest Category: Operations & Maintenance Interest Sub Category: Operations & Maintenance Job Title : Aviation Site Coordinator Employment Category/Status: full-time Type of Position: Regular Hire Country: U.S. State: California City: Lemoore Minimum Requirements: URS Corporation is currently seeking qualified Aviation Site Coordinators at our NAS Lemoore, CA aircraft maintenance support facility. Supervises and coordinates activities in accordance with negotiated contracts, Statement of Work (SOW), and company policies and procedures. This candidate must have the ability to work in a team of support personnel to meet operational objectives. Excellent customer service skills, the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision required. Essential Responsibilities: 1) Interacts with employees, staff and government officials. 2) Prepares work schedules and expedites work flow 3) Monitors flight line, hangar bay and all workspaces to ensure work is being done safely and efficiently. 4) Ensures safety violations are fixed on the spot and each employee is working on assigned tasks when not on break or lunch, to accomplish assigned contracted work. 5) Ensure employees are working within the confines of the contract for assigned work. 6) Provides administrative support to staff as required. 7) High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience and 3 years of related experience; strong analytical and communication skills required. Position may require a valid driver's license and does require the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and possess the ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency when required. Proficiency with internet search engines, electronic mail systems, word processing applications, Excel databases and PDF files required. Possess strong organizational and time management skills. Must be able to listen and communicate effectively. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Work is performed in a variety of settings including an office environment, aircraft hangar, and outside. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and taste or smell. Frequently required to lift and or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Job Description: Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 60-75 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizational skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
