Excellent communication and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. Some positions may require the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software. Proficient with MS Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. Extensive travel is required (CONUS and OCONUS). Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Position requires at least 50% travel. Desired Experience/Characteristics: • 72XX MOS in United States Marine Corps for 4 years or more • Training Instructor Experience • Training Instructor School (USMC Basic and Senior Instructor Courses) • Experience with CAC2S Phase 2 systems including the Multi-Source Correlator-Tracker (MSCT) Tactical Data Framework (TDF); Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI); AccessNet; SCUPLT; Flexible Analysis, Modeling, and Exercise System (FLAMES); using and maintaining Tactical Data Systems including Datalinks . • Ability to effectively deliver training material through the use of excellent organizational and verbal communications skills. This includes the ability to: o Establish credibility and rapport with students. o Know the material very well and present it in an orderly logical fashion. o Cope with unexpected issues and make adjustments to keep the training on track. o Control the class flow and prevent deviation from the course content. o Use personal experience to include meaningful examples and analogies. o Present each concept in terms the students can understand and relate to. o Evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and improve as needed. Job Description: AECOM is seeking a CAC2S Operator Trainer in our Linton, IN location! Provide technical support in a variety of engineering assignments in the development, research design, manufacture, testing, installation, modification, and operation and training of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems as member of an analysis or review team on less complex assignments. Provide New Equipment Training (NET) for CAC2S Phase 2 Aviation Operators and update/improve training material as required. Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a goverment secret clearance. Essential Responsibilities: 1) Perform design development, course development, or and review tasks in specific areas under supervision. 2) Assist in generation of specifications, engineering and related system and training documentation. 3) Implement engineering change instructions. 4) Investigate systems problems and provide white papers on the results of the investigation. Prepare recommendations and solutions on system problems to include alternate testing to verify change 5) Assist with installation, test and service equipment and systems at Company and client sites. 2)6) Train others in the operation and performance of the system(s) at Company and client sites. 3)7) Assist with maintenance of filing system, databases and logs as needed for tracking project status and inventory. 4)8) Support engineers and trainers in the development of technical proposals. 5)9) Provide support with on-site customer interface for equipment/system installation, testing, survey, fabrication, training, and other engineering tasks as needed.
