**About the Business Line** **Environment**
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary** The Environment Division of AECOM is seeking professional archaeologists to assist with upcoming projects\. The successful applicant will assist the senior archaeological staff at the Sacramento office\.
Specific duties will include:
+ Records searches at the CHRIS information centers
+ Archaeological monitoring of construction activities that will require the ability to identify prehistoric and historic artifacts, archaeological survey, and archaeological excavation
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in Anthropology/Archaeology, completion of a 4\-week archaeological field school
+ 6\+ months of experience
+ Exceptional written and communication skills and familiarity with Native American consultation
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ One year of experience preferred
