**About the Business Line** **Environment**
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary** The Environmental business line of AECOM is actively seeking a creative and talented Geologic/Geotechnical/Civil Engineer for immediate employment in the St\. Louis, MO office\. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to pursue, win, and complete design, analysis and preparation of contract/permit documents for solid waste landfill and disposal ponds; with an emphasis on USEPA and state CCR rule interpretation\. The ideal candidate will meet all the minimum requirements as well as integrate with existing management team to obtain and/or conduct work for existing and new clients\. We are seeking a dynamic individual capable of working with a team of professionals either assisting, or leading efforts on CCR sites\. This position requires excellent verbal communication and writing skills and the desire to assist AECOM in the continued growth of the environmental department and power business line\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelors of Science degree in Civil, Geotechnical, geological, or related engineering field
+ Minimum 20 years experience, with 7 years project management experience
+ Business development, USEPA CCR and solid waste rules, water resources, landfill permitting and construction, pond design and closure
+ Ability to lead others in project and programmatic endeavors
+ Effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
+ Ability to generate well\-written, technically sound reports
+ Conduct effective meetings with team members and clients to confirm progress, review issues and actions, quality and safety, and resolve questions
+ Ability to write and to convey complex thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner
+ Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity
+ Ability to commit to action, even in uncertain situations, to accomplish organizational goals
+ Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, legal practices and documents and government regulations
+ Ability to interact independently with client and regulatory personnel
+ Understanding and correct application of project\-specific regulatory guidance and regulations
+ Proactive in recognizing and appropriately addressing health and safety issues for the entire team
+ Design, analysis and preparation of contract/permit/design documents for solid waste landfill and disposal ponds
+ Wetland and stream restoration, mitigation and compliance
+ Sanitary and storm water design for industrial, commercial, and residential site development
+ Floodplain development permitting, to include no\-rise analysis
+ Surface water modeling
+ PE in Missouri
+ Certified Floodplain Manager
+ Valid driver's license
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Proficient in AutoCD Civil 3D
