Minimum Requirements: AECOM is seeking an Information Systems Admin in our Crane, IN location!
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering and two years of experience in network administration and a thorough knowledge of networking principles to include internet protocols and operating systems, network hardware/software components and their use/configurations, and knowledge of network diagnostic principles and the ability to acquire IAT2 certification.
Job Description: Installs, configures, and troubleshoots computer networks and associated assemblies by performing the following duties. Installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to microcomputer hardware and software systems and provides technical assistance and training to system users by performing the following duties.
Essential Responsibilities:
Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
Upgrades network hardware and software components as required.
Installs, upgrades, and configures network printing, directory structures, rights, security, and software on file servers.
Provides users with network technical support.
Responds to the needs and questions of users concerning their access of resources on the network.
Establishes network users, user environment, directories, and security for networks being installed.
