Its project headquarters reside in Lexington, KY. Plant operations are located in Paducah, KY and Piketon, OH. The Company currently employs approximately 375 employees. Job Summary: This position reports to the Director of Business and Legal Services and manages the administration of the B&W Conversion Services, LLC (BWCS) prime contract, including developing and negotiating contract changes and fee arrangements with the Department of Energy (DOE). The position provides in-depth functional support, and technical support and guidance regarding the entire prime contracts work process. Serves as focal point and advisor to the President and General Manager and the Business and Legal Services Director on all contract matters. Communicates effectively with stakeholders and continually demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to develop and support positive customer and stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities: · Manages the administration of the BWCS prime contract. Justifies contract cost recovery, develops innovative fee and other related arrangements and conducts prime contract negotiations. · Maintains and demonstrates working knowledge of the U.S. government acquisition and procurement environment. · Manages all corporate support agreements related to obtaining resources from partner companies. · Provides management direction, communicates best contracting practices/philosophies and recommends negotiation techniques which are in the best interests of BWCS and its stakeholders. · Ensures clear written and oral communication pertaining to contract requirements with all stakeholders. · Provides expert guidance and recommendations to top level BWCS management on all business or policy matters pertaining to the prime contract, particularly on sensitive topics involving problem resolution and audit issues. · Provides a clear focal point for all prime contract-related communications between BWCS and DOE. Closely coordinates with the Business and Legal Services Director and interfaces as necessary with other stakeholders. · Leads contract changes to incorporate new scope, budget and fee of additional initiatives. · Performs other duties as assigned.
