Job Responsibilities/Duties
Responsible for administration and operation of the Employee Concerns Program (ECP) for WRPS in compliance with applicable WRPS policies and procedures, DOE Orders and Directives. Provide company and subcontractor employees with an independent and objective avenue for anonymous and confidential reporting, investigating, and resolving concerns related to Safety, Health, Quality, Security, Environment, Retaliation, Chilling Effect, Ethics, Waste, Fraud & Abuse. Perform as company representative on the Hanford Concerns Council in working towards and implementing full, fair and final resolution on employee issues.
Duties Include:
Must be available to all workers and management for the purpose of discussing issues, performing intake interviews, investigating allegations through personal interviews, documentation reviews and work observance, assessment and evaluation, development of corrective actions for resolution of validated claims, work with management on resolution and path forward, documentation of issue receipt through resolution, closure with the CI, and development of records and reports. Effective interface with WRPS management and DOE representatives, as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, or Engineering/Science related field and a minimum of 10-15 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
Management experience in working with and resolving employee issues
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and high degree of personal ethics and integrity.
Must possess experience in conduct of investigations, mediation, and alternate dispute resolution.
Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Word and the use of information databases.
