Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent
• Two (2) years experience working in a plant operations environment
• Ability to use various computer software/hardware/peripherals
• Ability to multi-task and multi-source with attention to detail
• Ability to perform work on weekends and at generator site locations on as needed basis
• Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens.
Preferred Requirements:
• Knowledge of the WIPP Hazardous Waste Facility Permit and the WIPP Waste Acceptance Criteria
• Knowledge of the methods used at generator sites to have TRU Mixed waste approved for disposal at WIPP.
• Current WIPP experience

Position Description:
Using Standard Operating Procedures to perform Visual Examination and/or Real-Time Radiography of the Waste prior to shipment to WIPP.
Using Standard Operating Procedures to perform Visual Examination and/or Real-Time Radiography records of the Waste prior to shipment to WIPP.
Certify that the Waste Confirmation process is complete and that the waste contains no ignitable, corrosive, or reactive waste and that the physical form of the waste meets the waste stream description.
