**About the Business Line** **Environment**
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary** The Environmental division of AECOM is looking for a key hire to help with expansion plans in the Columbus area\. The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of currently environmental practices in the consulting industry and possess over 10 years of environmental consulting experience\. Candidates should be able to demonstrate increasing responsibilities in their work history that should include marketing experience, knowledge of the local Columbus market and project management skills\. Candidates must be willing to help build a functioning consulting practice while filling a “doer and seller” role\.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
+ Effective marketing skills including; conducting presentations, preparing marketing materials, understanding client needs
+ Outstanding communication skills \(verbal and written\) with both internal and external clients
+ Highly motivated in pursing the goal of developing a consulting practice in Columbus area
+ Deep understanding of current environmental regulations and programs including: RCRA, TSCA, BUSTR, ASTM 1527\-13
+ Basic understanding of the principals of Chemistry, Geology and Civil Engineering as they relate to environmental science
+ Proficiency in interpreting contracts and preparing proposals
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelors degree from accredited university in environmental field or related sciences
+ Minimum 8\+ years experience with successive higher responsibilities
+ Experienced in all areas of environmental consulting, general consulting practices and marketing
+ Deep understanding of Federal and State environmental regulations and written skills
**Preferred Qualifications** Masters of engineering
