Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
• Must be pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline with an engineering related background from an accredited 2-year or 4-year technology school or university.
• Must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours prior to the start of the co-op.
• Previous CAD systems experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, Bentley I/RAS design or equivalent.
• Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States.
Preferred Requirements:
• 3.0 GPA (please indicate in profile)
• Coursework or experience in related field (instrumentation and controls)
• Preference given to those attending or graduated from one of the following URS EC focus schools:
• Central Piedmont Community College
• University of North Carolina, Charlotte (UNC Charlotte)
• York Technical College

Position Description:
The internship is paid with benefits and interns are expected to work a minimum of 20 hours a week while maintaining a 3.0 GPA. The candidate will begin the Co-op program for one semester and have the opportunity to complete the 1-year program based on performance.
The intern will work in a professional environment on technical projects with the opportunity to learn and expand skills, as well as learn fundamental concepts and procedures while assisting higher-level designers from various disciplines.
