Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Health or Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering or demonstrated equivalent.
• Experience: 4 years of experience.
• Must have or willing to obtain OSHA certification (30 hour course).
• At least 3+ years automotive experience is required.
• 2+ years experience with General Motors projects.
• Must be computer proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Primavera Contracts Manager.
• Knowledge in GM Construction Safety Process.
• Knowledgeable with MUST program.
• Must be willing to work night or split shift.
Preferred Requirements:
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP).

• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

• Review contractor's safety program.
• Review contractor's Pre-task plan.
• Oversee contractor's safety orientations.
• Assist with drug testing program.
• Monitor contractor's safety performance.
• Assist with incident investigation & corrective action.
• Project Team resource for safety issues.
• Create safety portion of contractor information manual.
• Participate in safety Buy-off process.
