**About the Business Line** **Building Engineering**
We deliver creative solutions for building projects for industry, government, commercial and leisure sectors\. Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design\. **Job Summary** AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Project Manager for immediate employment at the NASA Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, CA\. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
+ Manage a program support office in support of an important Federal client
+ The program office performs the functions of a typical city Planning and Building Department on behalf of the client for proposed projects to be undertaken on Federal land by a private commercial lease
+ Responsible for the organization and management of the staff and processes necessary for performance of entitlement and design review functions, permitting and inspection functions
+ Certain construction management oversight will also be required
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a Building Engineering discipline
+ Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience
+ Experience in entitlement processing, design review, and permitting and inspection
+ Significant project management skills and possession of solid financial fundamentals
+ Proven ability to work diplomatically and cooperatively with people in solving difficult problems
+ Highly developed communication skills
+ Exceedingly organized
+ Excellent familiarity with the California Building Code \(CBC\)
+ Fluent with Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project
+ Professional Architecture License or P\.E\. license in Building Engineering discipline
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with alternative means and methods a plus
+ Working familiarity with Sharepoint, Box, Access, AutoCAD a plus
+ Master's Degree
