More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Environment** Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\. **Job Summary** The Salt Lake City office of AECOM has a growing environmental, health and safety compliance program and we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our growing practice\. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting challenging projects\. The successful candidate will support a variety of compliance related projects ranging from air permitting, greenhouse gas reporting, and environmental compliance auditing\. The candidate will also participate in and/or lead business development efforts for compliance related work\. Experience with compliance related projects at refineries is desired\. Writing skills and strong attention to quality assurance/quality control are critical\. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Prepare air emission inventories + Review applicability of state and federal regulations + Support environmental compliance projects + Mentor junior engineers + Prepare proposals and cost estimates + Prepare permit application packages **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelors Degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering + 5\-10 years of experience in the field of environmental compliance, air permitting + Must have experience in environmental compliance, air permitting + Working knowledge of Utah air permitting regulations + Experience interpreting and implementing Federal air regulations + Ability to both speak and write English well + Ability to work well in teams and get along with coworkers + Valid Utah driver's license + 40\-Hour HAZWOPER Certification + Professional Engineer, or ability to obtain **Preferred Qualifications** + Ability to support remediation projects as necessary + Project manager experience + Commitment to quality and attention to detail + Advanced spreadsheet skills including pivot tables, array formulas, and scripts + Title V air quality permitting + Air dispersion modeling + Strong analytical skills with experience managing large quantity of environmental data + Statistics **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
