Minimum Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.). An additional 15 years of experience related to the stated fields or experience may be utilized in substitution of the bachelor degree for a total of twenty five (25) years of total experience.
No less than ten (10) years progressive experience in Special Operations; have no less than ten (20) years’ experience in U.S. Army; have held key leadership positions in U.S. Army Special Operations Forces and U.S. Army; and familiar with Joint planning at all these levels. All experience and education requirements are within the ten (10) year overall minimum years of experience. At least 5 years of this experience must be in a management or leadership role. At least 1 year of defense acquisition experience must have been obtained within the past 5 years. A Master’s degree and PMP certifications are considered pluses.
Candidate should possess excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of Conventional and Special Operations Forces; knowledge of Department of Defense and Army acquisition policies, procedures and tools. Position may require frequent travel.
Position requires current DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
Job Description: AECOM is seeking a Program Manager for our Fort Meade, MD location.
Ensure personnel obtain and maintain current qualifications and training required to meet mission requirements.
Coordinate with section supervisors and the qualified labor as necessary to perform all services in an orderly, timely, and efficient manner.
Collaborate daily with customer(s) to determine specific needs and requirements and to counsel within the expertise area; including oversight and task execution.
Develop and/or review program reports, technical papers, drawings, specifications, procedures, etc.; provide comments; organize, consolidate, and adjudicate comments from various organizations, and prepare reports.
Prepare executive-level reports and briefs.
Consult as industry expert with customer, advise on policy development, planning and implementation.
Interface with various technical, operational and logistics team leaders daily to exchange information and coordinate related task performance.
Mentor junior-level personnel in the SME area of assigned work.
Responsible for all employees of the Contractor and under its administrative control and supervision.
