Our global network of top\-tier specialists delivers comprehensive services over the full life cycle of a project to benefit clients in government and private industries\. **Job Summary** As Responsible Track Engineer you will work within a collaborative alliance project office\. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will undertake design, supervision and management of a wide range of projects in the railway environment, along with assisting with work\-bank preparation and scheduling requirements\. We are looking for people who can demonstrate relevant experience in permanent way design and switches and crossings in particular\. You will also be a results driven motivated individual with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels\. Your responsibilities will include: • Undertake site visits and surveys • Produce/check design drawings and documentation • Produce design specifications • Work flexibly, interfacing with other disciplines and offices\. • Produce reports • Meet job delivery and programme • Act as ‘Responsible Engineer’; deputise as Engineering Manager as and when required \(subject to formal acceptance within the S&C Alliance\) • Work with Project Management staff to deliver design programme **Minimum Requirements** Preferably, applicants will be fully conversant with Bentley Railtrack and Microstation computer aided design software packages and the use of ClearRoute for undertaking gauging assessments, **Preferred Qualifications** + HNC in relevant subject essential + Chartered Engineer preferred and if appropriate or working towards/member of relevant Professional Institution Aecom Reference: RailPway **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
