We provide cost and project management services, and specialist consultancy services, to public\- and private\-sector clients around the world, with a strong presence in Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and the United States\.
**Job Summary**
AECOM has a fantastic opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor to work as part of our commercially orientated team in West Malling\. You will be able to provided high calibre professional and innovative advice to our clients\. This is a Chartered BS level role with opportunities to manage client accounts and progress within the team and business\.
Job responsibilities will include:
•Technical Due Diligence – working with a variety of clients from investment companies to start\-up businesses and private individuals
•Project management and contract administration foe a wide variety of clients and project types
•Investment and quality monitoring inspections
•Dilapidations and condition appraisals and surveys
•6 Facet surveys and specification writing considered an advantage
**Minimum Requirements** •Confident, good communicator both verbally and in writing to clients
•Enthusiastic, diplomatic, accurate
•Good team player
•Commercially aware and business focussed
•Capable of developing contacts to win new business
•Experience of working within a consultancy practice
•Proven fee targeted achievement
•Working knowledge of current building contracts
•Excellent report writing with attention to detail
**Preferred Qualifications**
•MRICS with a BSc \(Hons\) degree in Building Surveying
