We deliver creative solutions for building projects for industry, government, commercial and leisure sectors\. Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design\. **Job Summary**
Our Building Engineering team in Edinburgh are currently seeking a Senior Structural Revit / BIM Technician, to work on a range of projects in a variety of sectors including Commercial, Education, Industrial and Healthcare\. Our intention is to expand our Building Structures capability by employing some of the best talent in the industry creating a real skills based capability\.
Responsibilities will include:
•Managing a small team of StructuralTechnicians coordinating work load and resources
•Liaison with external and internal client teams
•Preparation and coordination of structural drawings and structural BIM models\.
•Preparation and coordination of structural reinforcement drawings and details\.
•Preparing technical supporting data for specifications and reports etc\.
•Ensure compliance to the appropriate company CAD standards and protocol\.
•Apply policies relating to company standards & procedures, health & safety, quality, and training
•Liaison with wider AECOM BIM Community to advance skills and service offer
•Mentoring less experienced members of the CAD team
**Minimum Requirements**
•Significant experience in the preparation of structural drawings & BIM models essential
•A background involving building structures essential
•AutoCAD and **Revit** experience essential \(project Revit experience\)\.
•RC detailing experience essential, CADS RC experience preferred
•Navisworks experience preferred\.
•Flexible, motivated and enthusiastic\.
•Good communication / interpersonal skills and a good team player\.
**Preferred Qualifications** Educated to an HNC / HND level \(or equivalent\) in a relevant engineering field essential
