Job Responsibilities/Duties
Provide technical leadership in the development of RCRA permit applications and Department of Ecology interactions, Oversee RCRA permiting program and review all permit document for consistency and implementation strategy. Provide complany level leadership for Department of Ecology negotiations for Hanford Site Wide Permit. Work in a team environmental to provide solutions to complex environmental issues.
Required Qualifications
BS or BA in Environmental, Engineering or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 10 years related experience in environmental compliance, permitting, or program areas
Minimum of 5 years experience in nuclear industry and/or DOE/DOD facilities
Desired Qualifications
Environmental compliance and permitting background including, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and/or waste generator regulations
Demonstrated experience with environmental field work and interaction with Maintenance and Operations organizations.
Demonstrated proficiency in working within a team and leading a team of environmental professionals, operation staff, and engineering staff as needed to generate effective and effienct permit documents and effective negotiating sessions.
